Opening day was powder filled at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort this past Saturday. With 18 inches in the previous 48 hours, skiers and snowboarders had plenty of fresh snow. Five of the lifts were open and two more (Bridger Gondola and Thunder lift) will be opening up for the season this Saturday (12/1). Winter is here! Get out there.

A few of our favorite spots in Teton Village:

Teton Thai - If you’re hungry… go here. Authentic Thai food with a cozy atmosphere. One of our favorite restaurants in Jackson Hole. The food around here doesn’t get much better than this.

Caldera House - Caldera House is a new luxury boutique hotel and alpine club nestled right at the base of Teton Village. The location is hard to beat as it sits right next to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s tram dock. It’s sophisticated design will make you want to redo your own home using the same decor from their incredibly homey and beautiful suites. Old Yellowstone Garage, the ground floor restaurant, is also a great spot for dinner or if you want to just to pop in for a drink at the bar. Caldera House is top of the line in Teton Village.

Enoteca - Best wine bar in the area. Located inside Hotel Terra, this charming little gem is the perfect place to relax and sip on wine after a long day on the slopes.

The Spur - Après-ski scene with good apps. The elk gravy fries are a must!

Mangy Moose - An OG establishment. A lot of history to this place. Go here if you are looking for more of an old school après-ski feel. Don’t forget to check their schedule for live music.

Alpenhof - Low key classic of The Village. Swiss ski chalet vibes makes you feel like you’re in the Alps!
